SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES

Summary:

Atlanta Family Counseling Center offers a continuum of substance abuse services including evaluation services, an outpatient program, an intensive outpatient program, individual counseling and random urine drug screens.  Participants in all programs are expected to submit to random drug screens as part of their treatment. 

Program Components:

Evaluation – A substance abuse evaluation is conducted to determine the level of care an individual needs for support in their recovery.

Outpatient Program – The Outpatient program involves 24 weeks of group process and education by which issues related to alcohol and drugs are addressed at an in-dept, personal level.  Participants attend one group meeting per week and are expected to attend a minimum of two, twelve step meeting per week (i.e. A.A., N.A., C.A., etc.)

Intensive Outpatient Program (I.O.P.) – The I.O.P. provides a high degree of structure and promotes a profound analysis of the issues affecting group members.  Individuals in need of this program attend two group meetings per week, one half hour individual session per week and a minimum of two twelve step meetings per week.

DUI Level I Program – The DUI program is designed for individuals who are considered DUI offenders by the State of Georgia and are seeking to reinstate their drivers license. Click here for information on this program.

Drug Screens – Participants in all programs are expected to submit to random drug screens as part of their treatment. Drug screening is also available as a walk-in service for individuals not enrolled in programming.

 Hardship Discounts:
The client needs to provide written documentation demonstrating hardship.
(W2 form, Unemployment statement, Medical statements, etc…)
